We're starting a new colony today in Oxygen Not Included in the frozen world of Helicona! This special map has the core starting area, but all of the surrounding biomes are frozen! We'll have access to lava at the bottom of the map, and some additional metals at the top of the map, but everything else is a cold biome. We'll have different challenges with temperature this time than usual, as the cold will permeate everything once we dig through the abysallite shell around our starting area. With no swamp biomes, we'll have no access to reed fiber, and no exosuits or other protective clothing...
